Fabricated Steel Products (FSP) was founded by Warren Tabor in 1986
The family-owned business has over 35 years’ experience providing the highest quality fabricated steel in the Gulf Coast region, nation, and beyond.
FSP employs 75 individuals consisting of a professional administrative staff, master fabricators, and expert engineers. The highly trained team of specialists have more than 150 years of combined experience in the steel industry.
FSP is proud of its reputation for excellent customer service and certification as a Structural Steel Building Fabricator through the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). Big enough to handle any size job but small enough to align with like-minded partners, FSP provides innovative solutions with a focus on continuous improvement.

What We Do
FSP provides various services and expertise for customers in an array of industries. With two shops in Baton Rouge, FSP is an AISC certified fabricator offering the highest quality structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, steel detailing, and engineered connection design in the industry. Whether it is a large project or a small order, FSP is the preferred fabricator for on-time delivery and is committed to building long-term partnerships.
Our Equipment
FSP is equipped with a fully automated Voortman beam line with layout. The FSP team is also outfitted with CNC equipment including CNC plasma tables, drill lines, punch lines, layout, and forming equipment. FSP provides a value-added service by offering barcode tracking of every piece throughout the fabrication process. The expert team offers in-house detailing and connection design utilizing SDS/2 and Tekla for BIM project services and clash detection with other disciplines.
